I am so surprised! It looks like teenagers do like it! And I am glad! Yes, I think it's probably more the mindset than the age that's a factor, and it also seems that readers relate more to Holden's feelings than the social setting he lives in (which you all must admit, is much different from today!) Em, I did not go around making a blanket statement about teenage readers as little as I did say adults in general enjoy this book (which many don't, but I do), I simply posted an honest inquiry, wanting to hear opinions from other readers, which I did. There is a difference!
