yeah i think ALL actors are wrong especially dimitri and Lissa
I like who Rose and Dimitri are. He's an actual Russian.
Rose I can handle but like Loz said, from what I can see from the trailer, Lissa and Dimitri look the worst. I could see how him being Russian would make people like him Whitney, I just think his nationality shouldn't be a factor in whether or not he LOOKS like a character. It's like well Kristen Stewart is American so she's a good Rose! But I'm not saying that's the only reason you like him though...
With longer hair, he looks like Dimitri to me. I admit I favoured Jared Padalecki over him, but I like the fact that he's fairly unknown. And because Dimitri's heritage is a big part of who he is as a character, I think it's important they pick someone who can nail a Russian accent.
I would think that Danila's acting skills and ability to not have a fake Russian accent are actually more important than how he looks. Especially because how we all imagine characters will be different to each other, not to mention different to how Richelle and the Waters brothers imagined them. I'm starting to feel I'm the only one who IS happy with the cast, and with the movie. I see where everyone's coming from with their fears, but after watching and reading interviews with the cast and crew they seem like they actually GET IT, which is really important.
