I can't remember. Was it Gideon's mom's ring from his dad? If it was, it makes more sense that Gideon would have it since it wasn't Ireland's father.
Oh! I now remember that the brother and sister are children from the second marriage. Still, Ireland is the mother's daughter, regardless.
She is, but I think it would be a huge slap in the face to give a gift from Gideon's father to Ireland and not to Gideon. It has no sentimental value to Ireland, not like it would Gideon.
Well, then, I guess it's better to slap his mother in the face by giving her ring to a woman she so clearly dislikes. The mother needs to calm down. As I have decided not to read the next two books, I look forward to reading all the comments on this great site. I can't wait to find out who killed the Russian to protect or bribe Gideon! Take care.
