The Night Circus is one of my top 3 fav books; this book was awful, in my opinion. I had to skim just to make it through. It was all just random side stories.
I didn't think it was the same kind of magic at all, they are two very different books. I had the exact opposite reaction to the poster above, I loved this book and didn't care for The Night Circus much at all.
