Okay...I see what you mean, but that's not how I saw it at all! How do you explain Wanda trying to kill herself at the end or that she helped all of the humans? SHE TRIED TO FLIPPING KILL HERSELF!!!!!! I have a feeling you would have a problem doing that if you were her, as would I. That SOMEONE ELSE was gone anyway, and knowing Wanda, she'd try to kill herself again if she found any trace of the girl who used to be in that body. So thank you very much, I'd like her to live. Also, how can you say Melanie belongs to Jared? Melanie is her own person, she belongs to herself and no other human or alien, she does not belong to Jared. Wanda does not belong to Ian. They are their own people.
Did you not read the last few chapters?? Because I'm pretty sure that Melanie tells Wanda- No wait, BEGs Wanda- Not to leave. And here you are saying that our life is so important and they invaded our space but the souls have to survive some way too. They don't particularly like the way they do survive but it's the only way for them.
