it would somewhat be nice to know if Hazel dies shortly after or not. Maybe a book about her coping with the loss? It would probably be shorter than "the Fault In Our Stars" but i would totally read it.
I actually think the same as you,Josi,because as you said,it would destroy the whole story.I think it's a perfect stand-alone book :-)
Girl......you may not want a sequel but I do. It doesn't necessarily have to ruin the book. Like she says at his funeral their love died with him. There love is now non-existant leaving our feelings toward their relationship still remains the same. We just want to see how they are doing. Does Isaac get back with Monica? How does Gus' parents cope with the death of their son? DOES HAZEL GRACE DIE? THat's all we want to know.
I want it to have a second Book. I think that it would be Nice to know what happens to Hazel Grace and when she dies and if she dies and weather Issac and Monica will get back together and like is Hazel gets any better and how her life goes on after Augustus die and what she thinks about the Letter that Augustus wrote for her and the AIA.
I dont think TFIOS is a book that should have a secret. It couldn't get better for me and i feel that if john green didn't fully live up to my high expectations then TFIOS would be ruined too. And i would NOT want that!
One Fanfiction that i have read is a 'sequal' that a fan wrote to put her ideas on the internet. the story line was that hazel becomes pregnant with Augustus's baby considering they 'it' in the movie. and it just has Hazel coping with having cancer and being a single mother, also it focus's a bit on her going to college and making a group of friends and drama and all that stuff. i also totally agree that TFIOS could not get any better but a sequal could really elaborate on stuff that was mention in the first movie/book and so on.
That would be a book I would DEFINITELY read!!
Honestly, this is late, but, he should write a sequel because it bothers me just as much as it bothered Hazel Grace not knowing what happened at the end of Imperial Affliction.
I think it also would destroy the story. They had the book Imperial Affliction in the book and movie. That when you die everything just stops. I think that would be going against the first book. I think he left it up to us as to what happens to Hazel and Isaac and her parents.
I agree but what if agustus waters friend I think his name is Isaac idk...the blind one but what if he and hazel hung out more bonding over their dear friend and boyfriend agustus waters and suddenly issac starts to fall for hazel but hazel doesn't think it's the right choice but after a while agustus comes to her in a dream and says it's okay and this is what I want for you because it's time for you too move on but just don't forget about me because I trust Isaac , he was my best friend and I trust him with you and so hazel goes for it with Isaac and days later or before she could be cured but watched for a while and then at the end of the movie they show the future of hazel and Isaac and they name their child agustus but idk it's just and idea because that can be the end or lead to a third ending or just remain an idea
