Amanda Oh wow so you weren't even a Rowling reader before this? It's amazing how no-one knew. You should check out 'The Casual Vacancy', it was really fantastic. Don't listen to the reviews just go for it, I think you'll enjoy it. And as for Harry Potter, I don't think you need to be of the right age group to read it. I was 24 when I first read them and I was never so engrossed in anything. Thanks for letting me know your thoughts on the book. I was really curious to hear from someone who had read it. :)

Toni Totally agree with you on Casual Vacancy Amanda. I loved it. I have a book store and I hand-sell it to anyone I can. Also agree that Harry Potter is great for any age. I love how the novels get darker and more sinister as you read through the series and how everything ties in so well right through from the first one to the last. Very, very clever writing.

Amanda Thank you Toni. And lucky you having your own bookstore, that's my dream!

Chloe I'm glad her pseudonym wasn't discovered too early, such that there are a handful of non-critics' reviews like yours. Thanks for your thoughts on the book.

I agree with the above comments that there's no wrong age group for Harry Potter books(except infants and toddlers). Ah, you're so lucky, Mary-Anne. I wish to be in your position at the moment - to still have 7 unread Harry Potter books!

Amanda Chloe wouldn't that be so awesome to be able to read them from the start again?!
