Cheyenne Instead of taking Spanish in high school, I took German, which is almost useless for living in California, but sure did come in handy when reading this book. The first 2 lines I'm not to sure of or they don't translate into English smoothly. First line: Wake up(?)
Second line: It goes with the day(?)
3rd line: "For you" (Which I thought was pretty bad a**) :)

Susan Minker The line, which translates as "Wake up! The dawn of day approaches..." is from a poem by Hans Sachs and sung by the chorus in Act III of Wagner's opera "Die Meistersinger von Nurnberg."

Lorna Thank you, that adds a further dimension, as Hitler was a big Wagner fan.
