Actually, Davytron, J.K. Rowling made a comment saying how surprised she was almost no one realized it was the same snake harry escaped.

The snake at the zoo is male, nagini is female. The snake at the zoo was a brown constrictor, Nagini is venemous. And @Davytron, I never said they were the same
