Yes!!
I was going to say the exact same thing, but you beat me to it! I couldn't have said it better. I hated it when Finnick died; I agree that his death was pointless. Then again, in a real war, there are thousands of pointless deaths.
Personally, I think Prim should have lived, because Katniss basically paved the way for another dictatorship to happen: she approved of a Hunger Games for the Capital, and she justified it by saying it was for Prim.
YES!!!! Also, I feel extremely sad for Annie. I wonder about how she would have handled it...
Tiffo: there are a lot of threads about this already, but if you read that part of the book again you'll see that Katniss has a hidden agenda when she approves of another hunger games: she needs Coin to believe she supports her in order to be allowed a deadly weapon in her presence, therefore allowing her to kill her and stop another dictatorship from happening. What she does for Prim is kill Coin, who is directly responsible for Prim's death.

finnick didn't get away cause katniss was daydreaming and didn't move fast enough. WHY DID FINNICK HAVE TO DIE!
I was really upset about Finnick especially with his pregnant (I think so don't remember) wife, I forgot her name. He really did find love in a hopeless place.
