Personally I hope everyone DOES DIE. 99% of the people of the kingdoms are complete and utter bastards. hope the others cross the wall kill em all and then piss off back north into the snow...

Not surprising. Bran will rule them all after Hot Pie defeats the darkness beyond the wall.
everyone is busy claiming the throne while the walkers are coming through the wall, and it is G.R.R. Martin we're talking about.
Yeah, I think most of the characters will die and also Westeros will be a wasteland. But unless they go back to 7 independent kingdoms or no human is left there...there should be some sort of overlord in the continent.
