And going on the assumption that he survives the end of ADWD! I agree - it would be very cool to see Jon ruling Westeros at some point, but Jon's storyline is a Northern one - he is tied to the north and to the wall as Davos is tied to the sea or as Bran is tied to the three eyed crow. Not to cast a negative viewpoint on your hopes, but even if Jon is somehow ressurected (probably by Melisandre as Berric was by Thoros), how do you see him becoming King? With the Wildlings, perhaps?
I'm not sure, but that was my first reaction to your question. It seems like the North and all of its forces are pushing south. Him teaming up with the wildlings is an interesting thought. Maybe he is the person who can unite the new powers in Westeros. How do you think Stannis will get there? I really wonder where Stannis will go.
Stannis is at Winterfell by the end of ADWD, right? but Stannis' main objective has always been to take the Iron Throne, not being he wants it, but because it's his birthright. It is, at this time, certainly more his than Dany's. If he survives Winterfell, Ramsay, etc, he will most probably push back South. Or maybe he will still be north when the wall falls! Then he's f*cked, p much....
Robert Arryn, backed by Sansa Stark with Littlefinger pulling the strings might be something. I can't see GRRM taking every Stark out of the fight for the throne and she is the only one who could conceivably move in that direction. A real shot in the dark, but there has to be some reason Sansa is still alive. I like her character too.
I see Littlefinger eventually offing Robert and either marrying Sansa or being killed by her. Hopefully it's the latter! really I'm just rooting for Sansa in all this, and I know that LF is a pretty major player, so... not sure. A lot of people seem to think she'll marry Harry the Heir, which would be nice, but GRRM can't have a Stark finding happiness, can he? :<
