Each to their own, Dany's chapters are my favourite parts
dany's chapters in books 2 and 3 are much better, much more interesting. they are also the books with the least number of chapters (5 in book 2, 6 in book 3). i think when GRRM gets too wordy with her story i start to lose interest. not to mention books 1 and 5 both have 10 chapters and featuire very little more than an enormous amount of setup for future progression (especially in book 5).
surely all the characters have to be involved to entwine the story, they all play a part in the whole,, I have only read book 1 but totally intend to read them all :O)
