YOU are the one who needs to understand something else. You literally just stated the most obvious and asinine thing like yeah no shit most writers are writing to satisfy their own curiosities, how do you think writing works Ernest??
That doesn't mean that readers can't critique what they write especially when it overlaps with real oppression that women face lol
and telling people to quit reading them like YEAH the person who brought this up is obviously going to quit reading them but once again they can critique them? did you know that critiquing art you don't like is a thing?
telling people to quit reading them is like those people who say "if you don't like this country go back to where you came from.." ok.. problem solved i guess
