Akash Kulgod But he could have destroyed only the secret Somras manufacturing facilitiity, why did he have to destroy the whole city? Also he broke his oath to not use a divine weapon....I wish Amish had ended it differently....

message 2: by Nancy (new)

Nancy what if the somras facility was not at devagiri? it was just a speculation- right? they never searched and found the place...

Dipen @Nancy: Read the last part of the book again.

Nancy "‘That’s true. But I had a friend in the customs department with whom I checked whether the Sanjeevani logs ever left the city. He was unaware of any such movement. If such huge quantities of the Sanjeevani logs are being brought into Devagiri and not being taken out, then the most logical assumption is that this is the city where the Somras is being manufactured.’ " this was a logical conclusion and not a factual one. The plan was to search devagiri and destroy the factory. Only lord brighu could have pointed the correct factory. But shiva destroying the entire city without searching is a missing gap.

Dipen hahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahaha
Instead of trying to prove your point can you please at least read the last chapter again. This time try to carefully read the part where Kathik and Bhagirathi are evacuating the Pandits from the "Somras Manufacturing Facility".

Nancy wow ... let me make it simpler for you..
1. Kartik and bhagirath (not bhagirathi, read the book) were trying to evacuate the somras knowledge(books and equipment). it could easily have been a library or a lab. no where is there a mention of a factory description. thats just an assumption you are making...For the writer to miss out the description of a hidden lab in the capital is a pretty wide gap. its open to discussion i suppose
2. Lord shiva wasnt aware of what kartik and bhagirath were doing.. again he was just speculating that the somras facility was in devagiri. he wrecked havoc on "speculation". that was the original point.

Just one question, are you Amish in disguise??
The kind of statements that you are making about the writer missing out on the description of a hidden lab are really out there! Man, you are confident in your ignorance I will give you that.
Oh and it is Bhagirathi (as per the Hindu mythology and the Hindi version of the books) there I have taken away your awesome comeback...sorry!
Also, if you will read that part of the story (please do it I am getting tired of saying this again and again and again) you will notice that they are pulling out a bunch of Pundits (call them scientists if you will) from the underground complex but then again by your logic they are the Librarians and the Meluhan nerds!!!

PS: This is my last reply on this thread.
