Ditto! Loved to think he was writing/talking to ME.
I don't really think he was writing to us because it doesn't fit, but it's a nice idea and I'd like to re-read it (for the millionth time) and pretend me was talking to me. But I think he was talking to exactly who he said he was, a person he heard about from some girl who never noticed him. How he got the address I don't know.
it was easier to get people's addresses in the 90's. everybody in your town was in the phone book.
the key, though, is that intro part when he said " you didnt sleep with her even though you could" that is a pretty personal thing for him to overhear. However, he didnt sleep with sam, so that may imply that charlie is sending them to himself
