Fair enough, haha. I didn't mean to imply there was nothing good about that character (you're right that she WAS one of the few animals who got the hell out of dodge). I just meant I liked how Orwell focused on those specific negative qualities of the character to make the pigs' idea of "animal unity" seem... stronger, I guess? Nobler through antithesis, at least.
mine too... i mean i am no saint like boxer and not dimwitted like some of the other animals, and yeah i am pretty materialistic too and no i am not ashamed of the fact...
I really liked Benjamin because he was realistic and didn't care what was really going on as long as it doesn't affect him to do something he doesn't want to do. I also like how he has an interesting personality.
I liked the vile character of Squealer. The pig propaganda spreader. Through this horrible character we get the insight to the story and its flow. We see what Orwell is getting at by this distorter of information. We know its coming and begin to expect it. No matter how bad the situation gets, Squealer always has a twisted answer and reason to explain it.
boxer is without a doubt was my favorite do to the fact that would never give up and always tryed harder, and the simple fact that he was the most loyal out of all the animals, he was also very loyal to animal farm and so chose to belive that his leader napoleon was always right. i also love the fact that he never failed his fellow animals by doing extra work so that they would not have to do so much work. boxer without a doubt was the hardest working, most loyal, and the most loving on the farm.
ps: i hate the fact that they betrayed boxer after all the work he did
