Oh please! Paris was a wuss and Helen may have had a face that could "launch a thousand ships", but they were just being manipulated by fickle goddesses. I don't, however disagree with your assessment of R&J.
The question is stated 3 ways: favorite classic couple, favorite literary pairing, and love story you love the most. I think that leaves a wide field.

That's a very good point... is the question classic literature couple, or just couples in general?
Oh it's not just classic! Well then it's for sure Percy and Annabeth!

For sure! My favorite love story would probably be Ron and Hermione. They had the awkward friendship, the I-hate-you phase, and then spur of the moment kiss that everyone knew was coming.
