Matthew Williams Not in the way Fox is. They are alone in having fired all people from their ranks who weren't sufficiently right-wing in in their views and circulating internal memos about how the daily news is to be slanted. The excuse that all news is biased is so often used to defend bias, but I have yet to see the slightest shred of evidence of a liberal media conspiracy. If anything, it's just the opposite.

Marsha of course it is still relevant today. Orwell is telling people to wake up--education is important. Don't just be a follower in life--think for yourself. He wants us to question authority. Absolute authority kills absolutely as it is still doing in countries all over the world that are filled with uneducated people controlled by evil dictators.

J Spohn Fox is the only conservative news channel ... all the other ones are different shades of liberal ... but there is a conservative media conspiracy. also, fox news presents two different sides of a topic, whereas, cnn, msnbc, ect. just have panels of liberals discussing a topic amongst themselves. so you may not like fox news, but it is the least biased. just saying.

Monte McGuire I agree. I watch both sides MSNBC and Fox. Fox is has more point of views than MSNBC, which is very biased. Watch both and decide for yourself.
