Ha! There goes the climax of the whole series :D
That actually only happens in the movie, in the book she makes a big deal about having a hard time trying to find someone she can't see, like she was looking specifically for what wasn't there in her visions. However without it the movie would have been more of a bust than it already was with it's very anticlimactic, nothing happened (literally) plot.
I can explain it! It's because ALICE can't see them, but they're still there. Therefore, we're seeing into ARO'S mind, and he can see the wolves just fine.
