Thank you! I had though that that might have been what it was talking about, but I wasn't sure. I also wasn't sure whether or not Terri being half carried down the isle had any significance. Thanks for your answer!
Perhaps if she had been half-carried more through her life, she wouldn't need to be half-carried at the end.
