Thinking about it, I think that I subconsciously "excluded" a number of books which could be classed as science fiction. For example HG Wells (the Invisible Man, The Time Machine, The War of the Worlds : Jules Verne (a hugely underrated author) - From the earth to the moon, 20000 leagues under the sea etc. Did anyone else "omit" these more "classical" science fiction works?
I also remember "I Robot" with much pleasure. But I liked even more the one about the robot which went mad as "it had been an accessory to murder" (hope that this isn't a spoiler") - I just can't remember the name of this book: Can anyone help?
