Dr. Phoenix It is NO a disaster that is an unfair judgment. Do you sincerely think it is easy to write motivaing and moving novels constantly? Give the guy a break. I read so many criticisms, as if he committed a crime because he wanted to try and do something different. If those who criticise so strongly could write half as well then I would perhaps understand. This was a piece of fictive entertainment and entirely well written for what it was meant to be.

KS I agree with that!
but I think that all the readers have the right to make his own point of view about a book, it is not important that whether he can write as good as the author.

Ramisha Yeah I admit, it wasn't a total disaster. It was the ending I was disappointed with.

I liked the background story of all the characters and everything but near the end it was like everything started to crumble. It was like an earthquake near the end.

And I agree with you Phoenix. I have nothing against the writer, and people should not be so cruel in their criticism.

Sadly, I've only read The Alchemist, but that book was just wonderful, so he's definitely still a good author in my eyes.

I know a lot of authors from whose list of books I probably only enjoyed one. And he wrote quite a few good books, so I hear. It would be wrong to shun the man over one book.

Dr. Phoenix I think this was a fair and balanced summary.
