It isn't even mentioned in the book, that's why I was so confused watching the movie
The statements are very vague. In the book its easier to catch onto. Because he discribes the abuse his aunt went through and that was why he thought she did it to him. In the movie it was difficult. But you could catch on by the questions he ask his sister on the phone after saying goodbye to sam and the others. Then at the hospital when he says the worst part was when the doctor told his mom and dad
idk but i finally understood when it read something along the lines of "they asked me a lot of questions about aunt Helen because i guess nothing had ever happened to them" -I really need to reread this
