In the movie, he said "Excelsior" but I don't think there's a corresponding word or phrase in the book. Is that the one you were thinking of?
I Read the book then saw the film. I loved the book and enjoyed the film. I found I had to focus on Pat's
presentation (symptoms and difficulties) and not think too deeply about diagnosis because I had heard that it was supposed to be bipolar but to me it felt more like autism or acquired brain injury.
