I could qualify as both "very religious" and a die-hard HP fan. In fact, I just started reading the Sorcerer's Stone for the 100th time. I hate stereotypes.

Of course you can be religious and still love Harry. Most readers of Harry Potter are religious (but I guess that has to be with the world being majority religious). I was talking about the crazy people who burned Harry Potter books for being "of the Devil" by "teaching children witchcraft." I'm not even kidding...look it up!

See my earlier comment....I was referring to the psychotics who burn HP for it being "Satanic" or whatever the crap they say. It's actually gotten somewhat famous in the media.
