Me too!!
I found the 'escape' unbelievable and unlikely to be carried out successfully in real life. however, in order for the book to be ended satisfactorily, they did need to escape.
I found the child's voice, both too babyish at times and too advanced at others, but since he only had his mother to learn from, I cannot say this would not be the case. I can't say I loved it, but it was good enough to keep me reading to the end. I'd maybe give it 7 out of 10
