Though he did spend all his days speaking only to an adult so his language may well have been more advanced than a five year old who spends time with other children.
He also had television which i believe counts as an outside influence?
my five year ild picks up all sorts of unexpected words from my wife and I and the television. Dont forget that he watched a lot more than Dora The Explorer and Wonder Pets!
