I agree. If one was to support censorship of "offensive" language then what's next: "Offensive" ideas, "offensive" beliefs, "offensive" lifestyles? There would be no end. And depending on the dominate or subversive paradigm, no beginning. For example, should we go back and remove all references to slavery from, let's say, Sumerian texts or the Torah; or how about we remove all references to child sacrifice from Aztec history? It's ridiculous of course, but most of all it's dangerous. And if anyone was to ask, "why is it dangerous?" I would say, "what if the 'all knowing' eye of censorship was turned against you?" Maybe I'm being melodramatic but it's a slippery slope none the less.
