Exactly. I don't think there is a right or wrong answer ... the book doesn't say, yet the movie eludes to his end. It was just interesting that my husband and I both read the book (I'm embarrassed to say I've read it 3 times) and saw the movie and had different perspectives. I was just curious what others thought. :)
