It felt like the author got lazy at the end. You'd think she would have tried harder on the ending of such a popular series!
Yes. I do agree. Especially when it got to the part of assassination. It was at the climax of all climax. And then suddenly it cuts to the scene whereby Katniss is hurt and disoriented etc. I was like WHAT?!
Ya that's how everything happened! Something big is about to happen, and oh Katniss passed out so now someone will explain it to us.
Yeah, I felt like I kept "waiting for it" to happen in the book. And just when it was about to then it didn't. MAJOR LETDOWN. And not to mention what i've mentioned in my post below; the whole disappointment in the way she failed to develop Peeta and Katniss's relationship properly, considering how well it had been written in Catching FIre.
