I was awfully proud of myself for even being ABLE to finish the first... I was extremely bored most of the time. I just kept promising myself that surely the book wouldn't have been published without being amazing. Book #1 is where I'll stop. Bleh.
It was painfully hard for me to finish the first book as well. I felt like the end kept getting near and then the book kept dragging out. And the actual climax was both predictable and glossed over like the author was finally tired of writing and just wanted it to end. That's okay--I wanted it to end too.
