Although being able to live forever would be amazing at first because you get to stay young forever, but it would get quite lonely. It would also be quite painful watching the people you love die while you live on.
I agree completely. It would be tragic to lose everyone, meet new people, and then lose everyone all over again. It would get lonely not to meet new people, but too heartbreaking to have to go through loss again and again.
I wouldn't want to stay one age, because it would be so sad watching your loved ones grow up and die, and you wouldn't get to even turn a year older. My neighbor is 103, and she seems really sad because her son just died of old age
I totally agree.
Who would want to even live after watching everyone you love die, that's just not right.
I think if there were secret immortals in the world, they should get together. Then they wouldn't feel so lonely.
I don't know Cherene. Meeting and losing people over and over again sounds like a special kind of hell. Not to mention that since time will probably seem like nothing to you after a while, you probably wouldn't even be able to have a normal relationship with anybody because their lives would seem so short to you. one hundred years (if they even live that long) compared to eternal life seems pretty short.
