well considering only certain methods can destroy a horcrux harry most likely wouldnt have died anyway
Rowie, you have a point. I've often wondered if Harry truly would have died if someone other than Voldemort had attempted it.
Dobby is awesome. He wasn't trying to hurt Harry in the second book. He was just trying to help Harry. And the thing about saving Harry's life? Aww! Dobby didn't listen, I guess. But Dobby doesn't have to listen to anybody; he is a free elf. :)
Technically Dobby was stabbed in the stomach. Just saying
