Yes I also see that the Gathering Blue and the Mensager are more connected to each other (i only read the first two, i'm looking foward to read the next ones) in the secound kira says that Matt (and in the book in somewhere says that is name is Matti, just like in the third book) well kira says that matt always wanted to be The Mensager...
there is a thing that i think but i don't have sure since i just read the two books, but is that guy that Matt say in that place where matt gather the blue for kira, he said that there was a perfectly healthy boy with tht same eyes that he might want marry Kira, is that Jonas, or something? or will i find out in The Mensager who that guy really is?
I think the Leader in Messenger is Jonas, because he arrived on a sled.. The old man is Kiras father.. i think his name is Christopher, haven't read Messenger in awhile, and have not read Son yet.

Messenger is not real fresh in my mind. More than the others it is an allegory and I was disappointed in it as it went pretty far into fantasyland with some things I can't discuss without spoiling the story. Kira only has a very minor role in it. It is primarily about Matty/Matt some years after the Gathering Blue story. We miss the in-between growth of both Matt and Kira. I think the blind old man that Matt visits is Jonas. If so there is another character who might be the grown up Gabe.

You are right Kelly. The old man in Messenger is Kira's father. That was why Matt went to bring Kira. Thanks
