Maybe someone could recommend me the books which is similar to the pillars of the earth but not Ken Follet
I would back Ella's Gran. Sarum.. A must read.
I feel the same Mizie, however I found far to much political goings on in Fall of Giants, and found it pretty hard to get to the end.
I found them great reads but harder to get through than his thrillers. If you want a good thriller, try 'the third Twin'
