Dave I agree with you, I also feel that a 2 star rating doesn't mean that it is OK, it means to me that the book is poorly written and doesn't have much substance. Also, a 2 rating adds up to only 40% so to say that is ok doesn't add up. A two star rating, to me, should mean this book is pretty freaking bad with just enough of a saving grace as not to throw it directly in the trash. So, perhaps a 10 star rating system would help to give more choices of what each star means. Let's face it, a 2.5 rating and lower should mean the book isn't that good.

Christine Hayton It's not a 5 or 10 * rating that Sally is talking about. It's the meaning of the stars at GR that is deceptive. Check it out and You'll see what she means.
