No. Here's what happened:
When Voldemort came to kill Harry and his parents, he couldn't kill Harry because of Lily's love. His body was destroyed, and so a part of him had to latch on to the nearest living thing; Harry.
So, when Voldemort tried to kill Harry, he only killed the part of himself that was in Harry. :)
I agree Isabel - Snape, Fred, Lupin and Tonks were indeed enough for me - not to mention Dumbledore....
Tehreem: that made me smile, yes, Voldemort is subconsciously suicidal. Such an ironicly amusing revelation.

Again I was not talking about the amount, but should those people have died?Maybe a fewer number of people that played bigger roles or one person with a big role.
