Lol I was thinking the same thing throughout the whole novel it's a mix between a the bachelor and the hunger games.
Some books you should try out: Under the Never Sky, Angelfall, Blackmoore, Sweet Evil, Unearthly, Divergent, The Body Finder... definitely should try these series out!
Lol! Yes when I read The Selection the first thing I thought was isn't this like The Bachelor! Oh and DIVERGENT IS INCREDIBLE! <4
