Um, I'm reading the next book and she doesn't see herself as better than Adrian, she never has. It's just the Alchemists' belief to not be comfortable around any vampire. She struggles a lot with it.
she struggles because of her superiority complex. thats what i am trying to say.
Sydney has been taught over and over again that she is better then vampire. Does that make it a superiority complex? I feel like she really likes Adrian as a person but the other Alchemists have taught her that they are evil. Usually with a superiority complex you are really arrogant about the fact that you are better then someone and I just don't see Sydney do this.
Fair enough :) I really like Sydney though, I could easily say she's on par or even better than Rose.
Rose was selfish but she was MEANT for dimitri! im sorry but thats how i see it!! And sydney loves him no matter what they proved it in the part when they kissed. she doesn't want to have the mind set she has it's just what they installed into her since she was a kid.
