Ah I wanted to buy those, they seemed awesome, but I couldn't find part 1 :/
amazon.com or amazon.co.uk. I bought all of mine there. You could also try Roslund and Helstrom Box 21.
The first two Nesbo books haven't been translated to English yet -- the first in English is Redbreast. I recomment the series - love Scandinavian crime novels.
Jo, I ran into the same issue, the first 2 books are not translated, is it ok to start at book 3?
I will be looking into all of these suggestions! I have been wanting to read more like the Larsson books for a while. Great question, Mark.

There is some reference to a previous incident that happened in a previous book, but other than that, I see no problem in starting with #3. The first book, The Bat, will be released in English soon. It's on my Amazon wish list!

Agreed re Jo Nesbo. Not as engaging as Steig Larsson's trilogy but nothing ever will compare anyway.
