Ditto on the first being the best, but I thought the other three did very well. I wonder if it's the plot more than anything, the shock of the opening scene and Michael having the need to balance work and catastrophy at home. But, you can't execute that exact "home catastrophy" again. Not trying to give anything away here...lol. That touched you and it's why I think the first is non repeatable. I'm just glad the rest of the series stands up pretty well.
