Goodness gracious winston, don't you think that's a bit extreme? I'm less worried about a fictional book a child reads than the crap they're watching on tv. If we had to worry about children mimicking things then we'd have some violent, heartless children addicted to drugs and alcohol based on half the reality shows allowed on prime time. Also, I don't believe anyone is saying 3rd graders should read this...so...
You can't be serious. The age recommendation for this book is Grades 6-8. I had over 200 circulation of this book in my school of less than 400 kids this academic year and zero deaths, by arrow or otherwise. The discussion in the roomis whether there is literary merit enough to justify inclusion in curriculum. If you are just trolling, find some other website where peolpe find it amusing.
