I have tried several times to finish "Son of the Circus" and never get more that halfway through.

I had the same issue for quite a while, but I got it finished on vacation a few years ago. I'd say it's worth your time. It would be a shame to leave a job half done, right?

Don't all works of fiction set in India have an elephant on the cover? I believe it's called "A Son of the Circus."
To Buck Tanner, I'm not sayin' this applies in this case, but I've heard a saying that the more bad books I finish, the less good books I start.
