Cindi I don't understand why you are even commenting on this thread if you don't like James Patterson ???

message 3: by Cindi (new)

Cindi Well I have read the entire Alex Cross - Women's Murder Club - Maxinum Ride & Michael Bennet series. I really love JP too !

Janet Love James Patterson. I was lucky and accidently started with Along Came a Spider. His Alex Cross series is wonderful .. you really get to know the family.
Be careful picking up a JP book ... a lot are written with other authors and not part of the Alex Cross series. Best to start at the beginning.

Jenetta Yeah I agree, like 'Along came a Spider' was one of the best crime books I have ever read, and the author did a really good job with the book...

Cindi Stacy,
Here is the series in order from http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk

3. Jack and Jill (1996)

6. Roses Are Red (2000)
7. Violets Are Blue (2001)
8. Four Blind Mice (2002)
9. The Big Bad Wolf (2003)
10. London Bridges (2004)
11. Mary Mary (2005)
12. Cross (2006)
aka Alex Cross
13. Double Cross (2007)

Jim I would read them in the sequence in which they were written. Often there are comments or indeed persons or events that reappear in a novel or two later. In Google and other search engines under the author they list all the books written and the sequence in which written. I personally buy them as when the reference reappears I can go to a previous book and read what happened. Good reading.

Linda If you haven't read Along Came A Spider you should start there. It truly was a very good book.
