That is how I got through the book twice - the reader did a fantastic job which made the 'read' quite enjoyable. I am thinking however, that I might have had a time finishing it if I had actually tried reading it.
I agree. I got the book on CD at the library and the reader was wonderful. He really made the different characters come to life.
personally, what helped me with the book is watching the miniseries first
