Once you get used to the number of characters - usually juggling 4 plotlines at a time, its fantastic. I read Belgerad and got much more bogged down in it. Best way to read WOT is straight through and read some then listen some if you have access to the audiobooks. I found it stayed more on track for large series than any other I have read. I always found myself wanting to read/listen to just one more chapter
