There were a couple of times when I thought "I wonder if..." Otherwise, it hit me like a ton of bricks at the end. And the more I thought about the ending, the creepier it got.
Just finished reading Bloodman recently, and it was one of the best novels I have read in a long time.I have to admit I didn't figure out the killer until the end. I did give it some thought along the way, but I dismissed it and kept on reading. Amazing novel!..
never saw it coming , mother was murdered 1969 so i was thinking hauser was the right age.
I agree, there were events that left me shaking my head wondering, still the author deserves credit for keeping many suspicions deftly at bay.
