Aaditya Mandalemula Thanks for replying Maureen.
Ha ha. The Third Twin is one of my friend's favorite book of all time. I read the first thirty pages, but didn't find it all that promising. I thought of reading WWE next, but there are mixed reviews about it here. What do you say about Fall of Giants Maureen?

Maureen Didn't read Fall of Giants. Stopped reading Follet like I said because the plots are too predictable. I had the Third Twin figured out less than a quarter of the way through. He used to be my favorite author and Pillars was a favorite book. His old thrillers like A Key to Rebecca and Eye of the Needle were excellent. I have read everything he has written up to The Third Twin except his non fiction book about an American politician whose name escapes me...I started it twice....and then I read World only because I loved Pillars so much. I'm an avid reader and it is possible I've just out grown Follet, but he remains a great read for others. Not sure.

Troels You should try Giants, it's a bit predictable but at the same time great stuff. He writes about the first 1/3 of the 20th century, and while I read it now I find it to be great.

Samira I think it´s predictable for us now, but it´s interesting to know about the plague, and society, and to see how there were strong women who were subitted despite everything just because they were women, the unfairness of life, or peasents for being peasents... and this continued over and over for many centuries, so there couldn´t be a change in the story or anything... it has to be coherent in time, spaces and events.
