Oh my God, my heart is breaking re-reading that! I'm going to have to grab my book and keep reading that scene.
I love how Bones is so open! And he's absolutely right in everything that he says in this one.

But it's one of the things you have to love about him and you have to love how JF finally made Cat realize the consequences of her actions. How much was she expecting the man to take from her before he snapped.....it broke my heart but it's one of my favorite couple scenes out of any romance novel...

Thanks for posting this scene. It really is such a "solidly" written scene by JF, and it makes my heart break for Bones. He needed a monologue like this where he could truely, truely speak from the heart. Reading this makes me want to re-read the book!

I'm still not ashamed to admit that I teared up a bit reading this one. Another thing that makes this scene my favorite is because it is a real honest to goodness moment between a couple that anyone who's been there can relate. Despite or in spite of the fact that these two are fictional characters but this moments touches on real-life issues & things couples can and do face.

Cat and Bones have such a great relationship. It is raw, and real and sometimes hilarious. I CAN NOT wait for a new book. (Vlad filled my need for a minute, but I need to more Bones/Cat sagas!)
